The Daily Draw
The DD for 2.4.09
When I was a kid in San Diego the family went to the ‘Swap Meet” every 2 or 3 weeks in the summer. Some times Mom would rent a stall and sell stuff. Better than a garage sale, more people. And way more fun for me. Off the leash day, with $5 in my pocket.
I would take the most time with the stall that had black light posters. My artistic style has been heavily influenced by Southern California black light posters of the late 60’s and early 70’s. I wish I had those posters today. One of the few things I miss about Sou Cal are those swap meets. The one in Spring Valley CA has been going for over 50 years.
This glow paint is going to be fun.
